Pedigree cattle.ie was launched at the National Ploughing Championships in Kilkenny on September 21st 2008. Pedigree cattle.ie is a business that provides farmers with a website to advertise, source and market their pedigree herds online. Over the last six months we have developed other areas on the website most recently adding an animal health section in addition to a news section where farmers will be able to access up to the minute press releases from, Dept of Agriculture, Teagasc, ICSA etc.
Advertise individual cattle
Farmers can advertise their individual animals on our site. Since our launch, we have added faciity for our members to upload images from home - they can still send us the images by post or email and we will upload them to the site on their behalf. The internet has a huge role to play in business and thats no different for farmers who are always looking for the most cost effective way of advertising and marketing their herd.
Breeder Profile
As a result of demand from breeders we have now developed a breeder profile section to the site. We can call to the breeders farm and take pictures and develop a specific profile for that breeder. We are now in a position to develop and maintain websites for all businesses.

PROMOTERS BACKGROUND:
Donall O Connor and Micheal O Donnell
Both graduated with a Bachelor Honours Degree in Business Studies in 2005. Each also hold Certificates and Diploma’s in Agri- Business and Rural Development from GMIT . The initial year of Agri Business was conducted in Mountbellew Agricultural College.
