Daudi Kutta, Pitchside Products International
Introducing a New GAA Sports Bag:
Pitchside International Products is developing a new sports bag that offers style, fashion, and improved functionality for Gaelic sports players. Our patented design features translate into transportation, organization, convenience as well as safety benefits for consumers.
Over a year and half ago Pitchside examined the range of hurling and camogie sports bags on the market for young people and adults. Research development and innovation based on in-depth knowledge of consumer needs is vital to Pitchside while collaboration with athletes and institutions is also crucial.
From Idea to Product:
Pitchside’s hurling and camogie specific sports bag was developed and tested with both athletes and active participants. The aim was to create the best possible product for all including enthusiastic beginners, active sports participants and top athletes.
Pitchside engages in active collaboration with universities and research groups. Our partners include the university of Limerick, Limerick Institute of Technology, Carlow Institute of Technology, St. Flannan College and Enterprise Ireland. The feedback received from athletes has been an important part of the innovative design of the hurling and camogie specific sports bag. The new hurling and Camogie sports bag has been designed with special attention paid to transportation, organization and convenience needs of players.
The Launch:
Pitchside will unveil its first hurling and camogie sports bag specially designed for hurling and camogie players on October 09, 2008 at the 2nd Annual Mid-West Entrepreneur Showcase.
